I was rear ended in 2022. I thought I was okay but my injuries escalated and I couldnt work or function for 3 months. My friend is a well known attorney in Texas and he recommended Alan and Rashon saying that they took excellent care of him during his accident. The last thing I wanted to consider was the fact that the offending party was underinsured, my car will be in the shop for months, which PT to see, who to see for pain management, neurosurgery, and how all insurance parties may decline helping me. All I wanted to focus on was getting better so that I can provide for my family. Alan and Rashon handled every single detail and referral. They were also extremely responsive from calls, texts and virtual notaries. I always felt like I was their family member and their priority. I spoke to other accident attorneys and it felt like I was being coached to say or do things that I wasn’t comfortable with. The Kolodny Law Firm was the second attorney to handle my accident. I was not severely injured, and the city of Houston ticketed the other driver. My first attorney made a decision the claim was not worthy of pursing and advised I should be satisfied to settle with about $1,000 in my pocket. Alan and his staff were much more discerning. The Kolodny firm did the work, made the arguments and gained me at least 6 times what a probate focused attorney thought was adequate! KEY: hire an attorney that is experienced, professional (yet, very friendly and courteous) that SPECIALIZES in the area of the law in which your issue falls. Friends of friends are not a good basis for contracting with an attorney. Should I ever be involved in another accident (hope it does NOT happen) I will IMMEDIATELY call The KOLODNY LAW FIRM!!
