Why did Stewart J Guss send my case to this horrible law firm? 2.3 stars for this firm is simply TOO HIGH. I got in a car accident in 2018 when I reached out to Stewart J Guss to assist me with my accident. Somewhere during the process my case ended up in the hands of Richard J. Plezia & Associates back in 2019. Fast forward and it's 2021 and I still haven't received my settlement money. These people claim they'll call you back but NEVER DO. I've gotten the run around so many times with this firm that it's pretty much a past time at this point for me. Will I ever receive my settlement? Probably not. Every time I call them I feel like I'm bothering them because again they make no attempts to call me to update me on ANYTHING involving my case or settlement. The only time I received a call of "urgency" from this lying firm was when I had to call Stewart J. Guss to demand that they light a fire up under these people's butts. I shouldn't be this stressed out and exhausted over an accident I was the victim of. Is this even a real law firm? I'm starting to think it's not. Just some big front for whatever. Please avoid these people. You will never get your settlement or professional communication with them. Worst law firm in state, region and United States.

Don't trust them. My case already got 4 years. No communication. When I call the front desk employee always says"the lawyer is in a meeting, give me your phone number, and we'll call you back". They never do.

Awful communication experience. I strongly not recommend to contact this office. I filed my lawsuit with this company on November 19, the case was accepted by an assistant of attorney and it seemed to me that everything would be fine. But after a week, she stopped responding to my messages. I called the company, I was told that they would call back, but they did not. Then I wrote to Rick Plezia and received a reply from him a week later that the assistant had gone on leave long ago and no one was involved in my lawsuit. He said that he would transfer the case to another assistant, and a week later I received a refusal from him to take up my lawsuit due to the fact that 6 months remain to the Statute of Limitation. When I wrote to them that I filed my lawsuit 8.5 months before the Statute and it is not my problem that no one was engaged in my lawsuit, he replied that he could not do anything and had to refuse me. As a result, I lost 2.5 months with them, although I could already find another lawyer during that time. Very unprofessional behavior.

They never return calls. Half the time their phones dont work and when they do, no one answers them. Lousy service, been trying for years to get ahold of them with no luck. Dont use these lawyers, they will run you in circles just to waste your time.

I have an IVC filter that was put in me June 2011. I did a CT scan this July and was told that I have a case and it was supposed to have been filed with the courts. I have not heard ANYTHING from my case worker as of this date. She did tell me it would be several years to get my case resolved. I am 72 years old I am not sure I have several years left. A monthly update would ease my mind at least I would know this firm is working on my behalf.
