I hired this guy to defend my daughter in a criminal case and he was the worst attorney I could have retained. Fist of all, he treated my daughter with no respect. He would talk down to her. He would not communicate with her to let her know what was going on with her case. She asked him to communicate with in regards to her case and he would tell her “I don’t need to talk to your father”, if some one retains a lawyer and pay him/her work and defend you, you can delegate to anyone if your choice to get information. He would wait till the day of court to tell her that she needed to be in court, and there was a case that she didn’t need to be in court and he still made her drive an hour to court just because. The final straw was when the day she went to court (not needing to be there) he started screaming at her in front of other people in the courthouse hallways (we have this on video)because she asked why she needed to be there when the clerk told her she didn’t need to be there, showing how unprofessional this guy really is. It’s a good thing I wasn’t there that day… in my opinion this Attorney Ismael Trevino is a disgrace to the profession and has no professional ethics. We will be reporting him to the Texas Attorneys Bar Association with a formal complaint.
